About Programme

Physics  program is covers a period of four years (eight academic semesters). The language of the education is Turkish. The aim of the Physics  program is to provide the opportunity to specialize in theoretical and practical issues related to physics. The primary goal of the program is to educate scientists who can carry out advanced research and development on topics including physics.

History
Physics Undergraduate Program has started to education at 2021-2022 Fall Semester.
Qualification Awarded
Students who successfully complete the Physics Undergraduate Program are awarded the degree of Bachelor of Science in Physics.
Admission Requirements
Students who want to enroll in Bursa Technical University Undergraduate Programs must get the sufficient score required by Bursa Technical University Departments from the exam administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM) and should not have an existing enrollment in another higher education program. Student admission with Horizontal or Vertical Transfer takes place in line with the numbers determined by the Physics Department Administration Board. The rules and regulations in “Directive on Admission of Foreign Students” are applied to the students from abroad who want to enroll in Physics Undergraduate program (https://kms.kaysis.gov.tr/Home/Goster/157614).
Higher Grade Transition
Students who successfully complete the Physics Undergraduate Program may apply to Graduate Programs.
Graduation Requirements
To be able to qualify for graduation from Physics Undergraduate Program, students must complete all the courses in the instructional plan, assignments, field work, applied projects, assignments, workshops, seminars, attendance, laboratory work and other related activities with a minimum "Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)" of 2.00.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduates of the Physics Undergraduate Program will be able to maintain an academic career by applying to the Graduate Programs, or they can have a job in different positions (R&D, etc.) in various fields, such as defense industry, energy sector, automotive sector, space and aviation sector, health physics, laboratories.
