About Programme
|
The Master's Program is a program to provide the necessary equipment to produce solutions by conducting detailed research on the subjects needed by the industry and research institutions on top of the infrastructure provided in Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate Education.

History
|
Mechanical Engineering Graduate Program is carried out by Bursa Technical University Natural and Applied Sciences Institute established in 2010, under the regulations and principles of “The Council of Higher Education”.

Admission Requirements
To have
1- BSc certificate from the relevant departments
2- required base ALES score determined by the university
3- required foreing language score from any of the exams such as UDS, TOEFL, KPDS
|
Higher Grade Transition
|
After completing the course it is possible to begin PhD program in BTU or any other national university provided sufficient scores in foreign language exam and ALES.
|
Graduation Requirements
|
The student must successfully pass all compulsory and elective courses of the program, and prepare a thesis on the subject which should be accepted by the selected jury.

|
Our graduates can take part in research activities in many national or international universities and research instititues as well as working in many national and international companies as engineers, managing directors and CEOs.

Assessment and Grading
The following score system is applied.

85-89 BA "

75-79 CB "
70-74 CC "
0-69 F Unsuccesfull
* Succesfull, if the average of midterm and final exams are equal or greater than 70.
* Unsuccesfull, if final score is less than 55.
* If unsuccesfull the right for makeup exam is given. The student must have at least 70 point from makeup exam to be succesfull.
